I ended up having to watch this time-shifted on my DVR. Actually watched it twice because Mrs.Q2 feel asleep just as it was going to start. Anyway, I found it to be just "average". Nothing really seemed to have that "pow" factor. Some funny beats with Walter and the cow, but that was about it. For me, it only became intresting in the final few minutes. Even alt-Lincoln biting the bullet was just "meh".

I hope next week is a better outing. This one screamed "filler".....

Still not a fan of what they're doing this season, I love alt-Lincoln and normally I'd be devastated if he was dead, but remember how alt-Broyles died and when the timeline change the was back? ... Yeah, being dead doesn't mean much, alt-Lincoln will be back at the end of the season, when they change the timeline back.

I'm sorry, Takeru. But I don't think that is going to happen. By the looks of it and the fact that the Observer did say that this is Peter's home timeline, I think this change in timeline is permanent.

The other Lincoln was once blown up and turned into a crispy critter. It doesn't seem believable that he's dead from a little hole.

The other Lincoln was also more interesting and livelier because, although he sensibly liked and admired his Olivia, he wasn't utterly besotted with her. It gave the impression he actually had a central nervous system.

The episode's statement that this Lincoln is now in his right place is not very convincing. And kind of depressing to boot.

That would be the worst decision ever, even worse than changing the timeline in the first place, I want the original blue universe characters back, especially Walter.

I'm with you on that, but I'm afraid that it's not going to happen. I still am having a hard time trying to picture how they'll reconcile the differences in the timelines (like how the machine was turned on if Peter died as a child in both universes).

I liked this episode; it had some good tension and action sequences, but it didn't 'wow' me like the end of season 3 or the Astrid-centric episode 'Making Angels'.

But seeing Gene (the cow) in the FBI jacket was priceless:lol:

This is exactly my problem with this episode. The Other Side clearly has more advanced medical technology and yet AltLincoln is done in by a bullet wound? Also, we did not see Lincoln actually 'die' per se, we were just told. So this could very well be a cover up and for all we know Lincoln is now involved in some sort of agenda run by Walternate.

However, I'm not going to bet money on that theory.
