My homemade chili that I did this weekend, after a slightly modified recipe by tsq. I went easier on the spiciness. 'Cause I'm a pussy

It looks delicious. Can I have the recipe?

I love spicy foods but Captrek is a pussy (your word, not mine) so I'll probably go easy on the spiciness for his sake and then add spices to my plate. I put El Tapatio hot sauce on almost everything.

Took me a bit of digging, but here's it is!

What I did to make it fit my palette more was remove the sliced green chilis.

Sounds delicious. I don't think I have ever seen a can of chilis in my supermarket but I haven't ever looked for it.

    A gate, people, a gate.

I am not sure how famous he is outside of Australia, New Zealand or the Netherlands but this is a statue of Abel Tasman

^I'm assuming the namesake of Tasmania -- I'd say pretty famous, in that sense!

That is correct. He was a 17th century Dutch explorer and was the first European to reach Tasmania and New Zealand and to sight Fiji.

    No-one has photos of shells?

Because it has been a couple of days I will post a photo myself. This is of Shell House, Ballarat which is decorated with thousands of shells. Excuse the strange angle, I was attempting to take a photo to put in a diamond shaped photo frame someone had given me. This photo was taken 32 years ago.

Here's the shell necklace! I bought this in Hawaii when I was 18.
