Now I'm secretly hoping Brett Ratner goes over to your homes to steal your entire Wolverine collections.
Hugh Jackman talks a bit about the nature of the film. This is pretty much been the line since the film was greenlit about where they wanted to go with it. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=93570
^^ Seconded I'm glad to see this tackling a classic story, just hoping it turns out as great as it possibly can.
The Avengers don't give a crap about Wolverine. Why don't you think they haven't asked him to be on their team?
Hugh Jackman confirms The Wolverine is standalone film not a sequel and won't be 'overloaded' with mutants First Official Synopsis From The Wolverine Released
I posted the Jackman comments already above, which also contains the full interview. I thought this was interesting. Mangold talks about the films that have influenced "The Wolverine". "The Outlaw Josie Wales" has been cited when Aronofsky was still directing the project. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/08/16/the-movies-that-are-influencing-the-wolverine/
According to ComingSoon.net, Svetlana Khodchenkova is playing Viper. It says they got the info from the movie's Facebook page, but when I followed the link, the only place I saw her mentioned was a cast list. It doesn't specify who she is though, so I I'm not sure how certain it is that she's Viper.
Interesting. I saw that earlier...she was in the running as I think we discussed before after the Jessica Biel offer fell through.
Svetlana Khodchenkova? Damn, that name is quite a mouthful. I'm surprised she hasn't tried to change her name, some actors do that to make it easier to find work.
