I don't care for the sitcom but I've loved Melissa McCarthy since SNL and Bridesmaids. Anyone else find that new Apple "Say CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE" ad really fucking grating? Forgive the pun...
I still think they should bring in the executioner from Showtime at the Apollo when they go over time.
Game of Thrones was robbed of an Emmy Award nomination and win for Best Directing for Blackwater. Just wanted to say that now.
I believe he played a Ranger in B5. He was given a mission, to defend something and make it look good--but lose. The moment of his realization that this was a suicide mission showed his acting ability so clearly. I do so love noble acts! If Hubby sees any pics of the women after he gets home from work, I could get very lucky tonight. (He's a fan of boobage.)
Yes, they were. I felt bad for all the crew and actors who put so much effort into making that episode happen. The episode felt like a movie.
I need to find some time to see Breaking Bad and Homeland at some point. So many shows so little time...
Oh shit, Cranston overthrown. It's funny, I was thinking earlier that Lewis' work is the kind of performance seldom recognized. Also, this lends weight to my Best Drama prediction. It's a great show.
If Cranston had to lose to anyone (and he definitely could have won again this year) I'm glad it was Damian Lewis. I've always liked him. I'll be pissed though if Breaking Bad doesn't win Best Drama and it doesn't look good for them. I was glad Jeremy Davies won for Best Guest Actor in a Drama for Justified. I didn't realize Mark Margolis had been nominated too but that was so well-deserved. The guy had no dialogue but completely sold the performance with his face.
Holy Shit! Hamm is never going to win one is he? First last year when Cranston wasn't in the race, now this time when Cranston finally loses one. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride?!
