This thought was never conjured by some fevered psychosis? "Don't you know who I am am? I AM ELMO! I AM ABOVE THE LAW!"
It's got to be a joke, because that must be the silliest, most unrelated to the subject matter thing I have ever read. Seriously?
Moral of story: pay particular mind to the half-your-age-plus seven rule when dealing with teenagers.
I don't think equality has much to do with a successful late 40's guy offering to make a teenager's dreams come true.
My age halved, plus 7 is 25. Morally 25 is as low as I am allowed to go according to that equation. I'd add a decade at least tot hat number before I'm comfortable.
As far as Elmo goes the question was legality rather than morality. It reads pretty poor if you are looking it at via the latter
'Elmo' accuser flip flops on accusation, now says affair did occur when he was a minor: Sheldon Stephens says he was pressured into recanting the accusation, wants to return the $125K in settlement money he received. I knew it. This has the evil Bert's fingerprints all over it.
He should resign. But the misdeeds of one person doesn't change all the good Sesame Street has done over the years.
