    Really? Never?
I'm not sure why this thread briefly turned into "RTD / Moffat sucks and anyone who disagrees is an idiot", but so long as we're here it's pretty clear neither is flawless.

And as much as I dislike the notion of the Ponds being gone forever...if Moffat pulls the sort of pathetic RTD-style "oh, we can undo this supposedly permanent thing" stunt mentioned above, I'll be beyond disgusted. I don't like it, but now it's done I'd rather it sticks.

He admitted in interviews over the last couple of weeks that he changed the end very late on... So I'd guess not

Anyway, all it takes is a single reference to these seasons later to completely debunk the idea that it was all a dream (not that it really makes sense in the first place - the events in this episode have to be real for the Doctor to get the idea to tell a story in the first place and this episode references those other events). The only point of that scene is that the Doctor still gets to spend time with Amy, only just the time where Amy grew up thinking about the raggedy man.

People were calling it the Freedom Tower before it was built, so I suspect the name will stick. One World Trade Center is more or less its address either way, but it's supposed to also be its name.

I'd only ever heard its official name.

Freedom Tower has too many connotations with freedom fries in any case.

Wrong thread I know but Noel Fielding was asking that on Jimmy Carr's quiz show last night: how often does the House of Representatives decide to rename food?

Fielding and Richard Ayoade were trying to out-strange each other. Fielding lost hands down.

Was it as funny as when Bernard Cribbens out surrealed Fielding?

I'm not American, I remember the "Freedom Tower" name from years back, that's what I used. Apoligies for an offense given or ignorance shown.
