Love the fake wood paneling, but see no reason just from that to even watch the first episode.

Hard to watch the 'first episode' when it's a film.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
    Hard, but not impossible.

We'll have to wait and see.
In the end it'll depend on the balance between comedy elements and homage to productions from that era.

My bad, the set was so cheesy I thought it to be a TV show.

    It's intentional cheese.

Seems like a premise that would work better on TV than as a movie, intentional cheese or no.

Looks like Anchorman meets Galaxy Quest meets Space 1999? I'd give it a go unless reviews and word of mouth are horrible.

This looks absolutely ghastly but, people of a certain age (like me- age 45) will love it!

Patrick Wilson's character really needs Will Ferrell to pull it off but then people would just claim it as Anchorman in Space so...

The retro futurism is absolutely beatiful, would prefer if it was more a humorous drama though.

I got a bad feeling it might be an idiocracy type comedy.

    Amazing premise with horrid execution.

I hope this brings back the 70s era future design, they are severly underated as a vision of the future.

Yeah, maybe it's because I was a child then but I love the look of films and TV programmes like Silent Running and Space 1999.

Yeah well I think cinematically alien and 2001 are the most perfect films ever made.
