IDK if you're aware or not but hotlinking is against TBBS rules and TrekMania apparently has defenses against it.

I would suggest looking at this page: http://www.trekships.org/hokulea.htm.

I would also suggest looking at the rest of the site when you find the time if you haven't already.
I hold the content of this site with high esteem, especially since this is as close to canon for many classes as you can get that were mentioned on screen but never showed up visually.

What is that boxy structure on the port side, aft of the windows. It doesn't have any markings on it. Is it a future shuttle docking ring or a life boat of some kind? Hadn'tt seen itt before (although I am sure it was probably there) and the hull coloring is different from that of the rest of what looks to be A and B decks.

    Looking good regardless.

That's just an unfinished airlock. I needed it there as reference for the weathering.

    UPDATE...
Right now the Claymore is the closest thing I have to being done so I’m gonna focus on that. I’ve finished up the textures and added a few more details to the bridge socket. Now I just need to work on the bridge itself.

    UPDATE...
I’ve added more stuff to the side and incluing a door since if they ever land this thing they’d need a way out. I don’t see myself adding too much more sinc ethe saucer section doesn’t have a lot of detail.
Added a little more detail to the back. I’ve got to work on those impulse engines, I really suck at those.

I was looking at this thing thinking (say that three times fast)it needs something. Then it dawned on me. A reaction control system, so I put a simple one together.

    UPDATE...
Worked on a couple of ideas for the impulse engine.

Added some final detail to the back and what I consider my final version of the impulse engine.
I threw some stuff on the front and I think that’s about it.

I like the first impulse engine best, followed very close by the third one (actually, tough call, they're both good), but I'm not real fond of the middle one. Doesn't seem "power-y" enough...

First one looks the most 3d and the most powerful looking. If you change the highlights around it to match the teal color I think you have a winner.

The first one--but in red--otherwise it looks like a sensor deflector emplacement.

    UPDATE...
Finished textures for the bottom of the bridge. They turned out rather nice I think.
Textures for one side and the back are done. I’ve started on rough ones for the top. Now I just need to do the front, the other side and the airlocks

Just wanted to show the entire ship as it looks now.

I've always loved it. And you're detailing of it is quite excellent!

    Now it's finished.
Oops. Ignore the 70,000 meters bit. Just a small mistake.
