    Here's why I'm pissed.

    Avengers Arena.

    Great Book.

Couldn't have every child in the Future Foundation have been mutilated, tortured and murdered in Murder World?

Why didn't Arcade source any of his contestants from the Baxter Building?

I think you just summed up the reason for my disinterest in Avengers Arena.

I'm currently collecting fourteen titles, not counting Infinity mini-series (which is thankfully ending next month). I need to cut some fat if I intend to collect Ms. Marvel and Black Widow come February.

Speaking of those two: yes they may not last long but I am glad Marvel is at least making an effort to publish titles focusing around female characters. Not only that, I think the new Ms. Marvel sounds exciting and I'm really interested to see how that title ends up. While I hate to sound cynical because it is a title I am looking forward to, I predict it will get at least a full year before Marvel decides either way if it's worth continuing.

The only reason anyone read Wolverine and the X-Men is because this was the book where Iceman and Kitty Pryde were supposed to be having the romance of the century...

12 pages have admitted that anything has been going on since issue 1.

    More sadness.:(

On the bright side, Marvel is making it very easy to cut down on my pull-list.

I didn't forget them, as I'm also buying the book. I just didn't include them cause the title will not be around as part of the '14 active female juggling act that Marvel will conduct.

I have liked FD even if I didn't love it. I continued to buy it for the hope that less active characters would show up.

I enjoyed the last Black Widow solo from 3yrs ago which only went about 8-9 issues so I'm really hoping for a solid attempt here. I'll also be getting She-Hulk and I'm waiting to decide on Elektra and Storm but I probably will.

Captain Marvel joining the team? Hmmm, ok, I guess there is some reasoning there.
Still, all the fuss over Angela and she's not on the cover, she surely isn't the mystery character.
Are they pulling the cancel, reboot stunt in May on GotG to coincide with FCBD? I didn't fully discern that from the link.

haven't really cared that much for the current volume of Young Avengers. will be sad to see Wolverine and the X-Men go. i assume most of those characters will be shifted over to Amazing X-Men eventually.

Wolverine and the X-Men is already spinning off into Amazing X-Men, so I'm just gonna look at this as a title change with a brief double ship overlap.

Amazing X-Men isn't a spin off of Wolverine and the X-Men. It's a companion book. It'll be interesting to see if it gets relaunched too when it's first arc is completed.

I read an interview with Jason Aaron where he said WXM was getting too crowded with so many characters so to service them all he made a new book to focus on the adults while WXM would focus on the students.

If you flip WXM upsidedown, it still spells WXM.

It's a vertical visual palindrome. Or something.
