^ So you'll finish it on Friday or Saturday probably Be sure to let us know how you liked it, I'm fascinated by the response to that game.
Well I'll be out of town on Saturday, so I might not be able to play through the whole game on Sunday.
Register here for a second garage for each character: http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/ [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51ie0OmcJFI[/yt] The GTA Online patches added more cars to the garage and free weapons at Ammunation... Also some free air and sea vehicles...
I will never, ever understand the appeal of GTA Online. (14-year-old me would have probably loved it, granted.)
Me neither, but if the vehicles/weapons of the Online updates can be used in the single-player part(for free), thank you! http://www.ign.com/videos/2014/06/20/gta-5-import-free-gta-online-vehicles-into-single-player-mode
I just discovered WarThunder. Anyone here play this? It's quite a lot of fun. Primarily started as flight combat, then they added tanks, and they also plan on adding naval battles. It's a multiplayer game, and I don't generally do much multiplayer, but I like the deliberate tactical pace of this game as it allows for more tactics. But the awesome thing about this game is how both the air combat and ground combat are occurring concurrently, all on the same map. Someone on the ground who has AA abilities can shoot down aircraft, while someone with bombing capabilities can bomb vehicles from above. Makes the game feel quite alive.
I was playing Saint's Row 4 recently, the first Saint's Row I've actually liked. Put something like 15 hours in to it. Today I rented Assassin's Creed Unity, It's not bad so far.
Finished the original Metal Gear Solid. The story was good, but the gameplay was pretty bad. It was very frustrating, and not very fun to play. I don't regret experiencing it once, but I doubt I'll replay it.
I have to admit, Kirk55555, I also have a rough time going back to any of the top-down MGS games. I actually have a problem going back to pretty much any 2D game ever since I played the original Tomb Raider. The freedom of movement and the perspective just took me over, and I have rarely looked back...except for arcade games like Asteroids or Defender, Bosconian or Sinistar.
So I managed to beat The Order: 1886 in one day. I thought the game was WAY too short. I finished it in roughly seven hours. I did have fun with the game though. It looked pretty, it played fairly well, I liked the characters and the story. So while it's worth getting it a full price, I do think every PS4 owner should get it once it drop down to like $30.
Yeah, it looks like a game I want to play, but after reading a lot of reviews it definitely doesn't seem like I need to have it right away.
Now playing GTAV. It's good thus far, definitely an improvement over IV. I'm about 50% through. Pros: Thus far, Weapon selection wheel. Soundtrack. Character switch. Cons: Vehicle handling. Esp. motorcycles. TBD
