Re: The Host (Stephenie Meyer) being made into movie staring Saoirse R As much as I despise the very existence of Twilight, a (female) friend persuaded me to read The Host and I actually found myself really enjoying it. It's not too overly romantic (although there's certainly a few gag-worthy moments) but it's fairly good drama with some interesting concepts. I love Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Niccol so I'm looking forward to this adaptation, just as long as they don't try to gear too hard towards Twilight fans.
