Mariner, is that the Chrysler Building in the background? I love the colours in that pic! Beautiful pics, Saga! Btw, on pic #3 you see darker veins on the petals. These are a totally cool trick of nature: insects can see in the ultraviolet spectrum but are pretty blind in the red and blue ranges. While the petals look grey to them, the coloured veins reflect UV radiation and point the insects directly to the nectar. Nature's runway lighting =)

Went to brunch this morning, this was the view of Lake Cazenovia from our table. Sat outside, couldn't ask for a better day. After brunch, we visited Chittenango Falls. It is beautiful, plan on going back and hiking down to the bottom and getting a look of it from there.
