Cute at first, then excessively repetitive.

Made me chuckle, despite the repetition.

Does raise an interesting question: who would win in that fight (Sulu on the Excelsior or Kirk on the E-A)?

Unless Sulu was utterly incompetent, he should win that fight. The Excelsior class is strong across the board than the Constitution class. They're still serviceable vessels in the TNG era.

I would always say Sulu wins as well, but I'm sure there are Kirk lovers out there who would think he would come out on top [insert George Takei "oh my"] :)

Yeah, it does reuse a lot of sequences. Perhaps if it were shorter it wouldn't be as bad.

In a straight 1 vs 1 battle in deep space, it would be a long drawn contest, both ships would be screwed at the end and I think Kirk would edge it.

I really like the Excelsior, but I do not think she is a mighty step up from the Enterprise-A.
