Stories that don't need zombies?

Some people claim that anything can be improved if you add zombies. Just like the recent Pride & Prejudice with Zombies novel. I'm not so sure thats true, so for fun I'd like to make up a list of tv shows, movies and books that would just be plain wrong (or kick ass depending on your pov) with zombies added.

Naturally, adding zombies to The Clone Wars would be... interesting. Though any Jedi could make short work of an army of the walking dead. Zombie Emperor of Dune...hmmm....

Dexter & Zombies. What's the point of serial killin' 'em if they just come back to feed on the living?

Mad Men & Zombies. Who'd sell them and at what price? Also what would the zombies think of sexist and discriminatory office politics - would they demand better wages? Maybe just a chance to prove themselves - they've got brains and they can show you, and also borrow yours.

Inglourious Baserds & Zombies. Heck, add some mystical Thule society stuff interested in the spear of Longinus and the mash-up of pulp cliches would be complete. But would it be watchable?

Well, the victims wouldn't come back to haunt Dexter--that's why he chops them up into little pieces, and always begins by removing the head! ;)

Such people should be more concerned with improving their own brains than with tales of brains being eaten.

Night of the Living Dead didn't need zombies. It should be about squabbling people in a farm house who think there are walking dead roaming the countryside, but there really aren't.

Battlestar Galactica...and Zombies. Olmos would probably quit becuse unlike artificial gravity, ftl jump drives, and killers robots that are indistinguishable from humans, zombies are not real.

With all this crap about zombies and the other stupid bacon meme I'm close to giving up on the internet until the kids get over it.

Unfortunately, it's not just 'kids' who love zombies. Not that all kids love 'em :shifty: (frakkin' necrophilliacs, the lot of them)

Besides, what bacon meme? Memes are a fact of life, the net just allows more to stay alive and spread faster.

So if you die and become a zombie... how does that work with your statement? :)

As long as there are zombies I'm good. And for the first time I might be part of the in crowd.

It just seems like there's a lot of talk about bacon on the net. I see it the most at ww.fark.com and some other sites.
It's a bit like ( I have to say it) the sombreros.
