    Another day, another project. Hehe.

Working on a new keel up design using the standard Connie layout. I reached the nacelles and now I can't decide, tall or wide? So give me some opinions.

The nacelles shown are not the final shapes that will be used, just place holders to give an idea of how the ship would look.

Wide and low suits the rear hull shape better, and flows with the saucer.

Different eras have different styles. If it's Movie era, go with the tall design. TNG era, wide and flat. If it's in between (late E-B/early E-C), make it a square-ish cross section.

Use tall nacelles to convey speed and agility, or wide ones to convey a strong presence.

I'm an 80's kid, so I'd go with the tall ones; they work well with the dorsal, but as Axeman indicates, they might call for some creative narrowing in the lower hull.

Both look great so far! B)

The neck, pylons, and secondary hull are broad and wider nacelles flow better with that. Look at them from the bottom - no contest.

I think the wide ones go better with that design.
