Well my love for Dr. Seuss was enough to forgive this episode. It was actually pretty good. In general I hate theme episodes of shows though. I'm really looking forward to moving the story forward. Perhaps it will just keep getting better and better from here.

I enjoyed this episode, that's no lie. All the rhyming in it, truly made me cry. It was fun to see this gimmick in play, but hopefully by next week they'll keep it away.

    Camille Guaty was pretty hot.

The episode wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Guess last week was the end of the line for Sherri Shepherd.

I propose, we all shall rhyme
from now on in this thread,
until the mother shows up to shine.
She'll fall in love with Ted.
The story will be done and told,
finally. It has been years and time,
The kids have grown so really old.
And even I am no more in my prime!

I just wish they would have told us what Barney used to poison the council.

    It was bromide.

I enjoyed the rhyming episode, it was fun that all the riders on the bus got involved too. I kind of wish they had been able to do one last Thanksgiving (Slapsgiving) episode, but that's the nature of this season. Speaking of that...there's still one last slap yet to be administered, yes? I wonder how that will get worked in to the wedding.

^ There's an episode that airs on Jan 13th called "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra".

I enjoyed the rhyming episode, not only for the rhyming, for escaping the wedding setting. I'm getting a little sick of being trapped in the same location/story like this. Still, mostly loving the last season!

Nothing overly spoilery, but some details about the 200th episode (scheduled to air in January) are discused at Yahoo! The article pretty much confirms what we have heard/suspected the 200th will be about.

    "The Rehearsal Dinner"...

I thought they might do an episode where Barney came around after years of making anti-Canadian comments. Then sure enough, they totally did it, Barney style.

I think this may have been the best episode of the season. My wife, who would have quit watching years ago if it wasn't for me, and who has basically hated this season, really like this episode. Despite Barney's craziness, Robin is his forever after this one.

Another solid episode. I love Barney's insanity. And for some reason Ted dressed as Liberace just cracked me up every single time

While they were telling Canada jokes, they showed a couple in the background. In one shot, the guy proposed to the girl, then in another, she was pregnant, then we saw them with a son who was graduating, then finally we saw the girl as an old woman with her elderly son and an urn.

I saw those things going on in the background but I didn't realize it was the same couple! That's awesome.

Did you catch them playing hockey with the wig?

Of course, "Ice Rink" was visible under the "Laser Tag" sign.

I remember seeing the crappy laser tag sign on the building and thinking it was just poor production values

But how did Robin walk into that office without realizing she was on the ice? We didn't see any kind of fake hallway when the room was lifted. Did they already take that part away?

They must have taken the hallway away for the big reveal. I also thought the fake sign was odd and just assumed it was a rushed job on set that they thought no one would notice.

I thought the crappy sign just meant a crappy laser tag building in the middle of nowhere.
