I would include some TNG in there too. SG-1 is just more fun most of the time, even when they are copying TNG episodes. For me, anyway. -Ricky
I'm a Star Trek fan and I support this statement I also support this latest model. Looks amazing. With 3d printing, are you able to adjust the scaling at all?
Yep, I can adjust the scale to any size, I just have to break the parts up if I need to print anything bigger than 6 inches. A 12'' Stargate would be cool. -Ricky
That would be sweet, but I can't go quite that big. That would be cool... you could build the entire Gate Room as a basement for the house. Me too, but a rewatch on DVD helps. -Ricky
I actually managed to get my wife, who is more of a fantasy fan, to enjoy it while I watched it on DVD. Here is a question for you-can you create parts for a zat for assembly like the Pip Boy? I have a feeling such an item could be very popular.
That's cool... My wife and I started SG1 on DVD around the time the last season was on TV... it was the first Sci-Fi show that we binge watched together, all the way through. Yep, I actually already have some files for a static model of the Zat-Gun, but I need to figure out a way to make it movable. The first version probably wouldn't be sprint loaded, but I would love to build one that popped up, and then lit up. -Ricky
I totally agree. The arcs and overall feel of the show was awesome! Need some Ori ships, and of course the replicator ship! oh on a side node need a Borg Renegade ship...nobody has one of those ;P
I love those Ori (Tiara class?) ships. really--you'd think they'd have the Cylon cathedral ship or Battlefleet Gothic designs
Good ideas, guys. Been working on some more... got the Prometheus test fit, and everything works. From now on, until the convention in February, I will be making two of everything. Also, the USS Merlin is getting even closer to finished: And, started the next one, the Nostromo from Alien. More soon, been keeping busy. -Ricky
Got quite a bit done on the Prometheus tonight; I'd say it's probably 85% finished. The posable wings/engine pods are held together by friction, no hardware at all. I really like how this one is turning out. -Ricky
