What should the color of the floor of the New Series be?

I want it to be transparent, so we can see the graviton emitters at work. And every graviton emitter needs to have the letter J engraved all over!

 

Something between burgundy and purple... bugundurple.

 

Not just mini skirts...

 

Transparent floor would be great. Imagine being on the bridge set and seeing 78 (?) decks of activity below!

Or rough timber planks, for that Hornblower effect.

 

I had a divine idea last night. You know how the Enterprise D had children and families aboard? Well, we could take that further. The next starship could also double as a giant golf course. So it would grassy astroturf with windmills and flags and holes. Besides crewmembers, you 'd also see caddies and golfers walking around in the background. Plus, to save on costs, the crew could just film on an actual golf course and put a few consoles in the middle of somewhere. : )

 

^ If all consoles and displays are holographic, no reason the whole ship can't be a holodeck.
