Yeah, some people just can't get to the grinding part fast enough to complain about the lack of content! :guffaw:

I really wish I could say LOR has tempted me to log in again, I started in closed beta, quit at season 2 when most of the entire rest of my fleet at the time quit, came back again at the FTP head start quit again at season 6.

So is there some really epic new redeeming quality I should try the game again with LOR? I don't care about Romulans in general, or their ships.

Oh and yeah the folks who try to be first at everything after new expansions do boggle my mind, it's one thing in WOW, where they dooo put out a reasonable amount of content, but in an game that shallow. Phew.

Well, the new story content actually IS pretty epic.

Between the new missions for the Romulans, the expansion of klingon content and the new mid level adventure zone (which I haven't tried yet, but I hear is pretty awesome) for all three factions it is almost an entirely new game they added.
So, even if you don't stick with it long term it is worth playing through the new content and hey... it is free after all.

With the Cryptic MMO's there really are not any restrictions at all.

Not many restrictions, no. You can easily play to the end game without buying a single item, and you can do it with the equipment and resources you earn in game without spending any real money. It's one of the least restricted F2P MMOs out there.

Did Romulans always have huge thick legs? I made one yesterday (content is pretty good, by the way), and even with the leg thickness slider all the way down and the leg length all the way up, she still looked like a dorf. The way the skirt flares out so much at the top doesn't help either :D

Oh, and why can't all the uniform pieces have the same color palates? It's really annoying that I can't get the top and the bottom to match right.

I just started playing today and I'm having a lot of fun! My ship steering kind of sucks, but I'll get used to it.

Is there a point in the game where you get to create your own crew?
Like when you're promoted to Captain or Admiral later on after you've gone through a lot of levels?

The starter ship is pretty slow and frustrating to steer.

If you like nimbler, faster ships, get an escort or science ship after Promotion. Cruisers are all slow but generally tougher to kill.

You will earn Bridge Officers you can completely customize from looks to abilities.
You will also gain ship duty crew for the duty assignments mini game later on, those are not customizable individually.

You can also assign your bridge officers to act as first officer, chief engineer, chief medical officer and so on. Although, these assignments are currently cosmetic and don't actually change how the game is played.

I gave in (stupid marketing tricks) and bought the Legacy Starter from Steam.

I wanted a T5 ship and the T'Varo seems to be the most interesting choice, so getting a T1 starter ship, a Reman Boff and a title at the same time for basically the same money seemed reasonable.
Just had to pay it cash instead of using ZEN.

Well now I still have enough Zen to get bank/inventory/doff slots, etc... and maybe even a second ship or ship modules for a fleet ship.

Come to think of it... isn't the T'Varo fleet refit already available in our ship yard? That means I can get the upgrade right away (still have one module lying around!).

Looking forward to posting my set up once I get there!

And starting this evening I will be on vacation with enough time to play the hell out of Commander Sotrall. :D

Yeah, the fleet T'Varo needs just a Tier 1 shipyard. Fleet Dhelan would also be available at Tier 2. Won't be too much longer till we have fleet Mogai as well on the Fed side.

I have not had any issues getting into the game in the mornings (Eastern time) for those still having trouble with queues.

Right now: 1251 out of 10000. the number of queued people has doubled within the last 10 minutes and my progress practically 0.
    And that as a lifer.

Edit: And now we get an Emergency shut down. I guess the server died from the heavy load.

It is the first weekend (and a long weekend for U.S. folks) after a big update. I'm not even going to try to get on today :D Yesterday didn't have any trouble though.

Well played up to Commander (lvl10) on my first Rommie toon. All and all, I liked the new content, especially the early "training" missions. Biggest thing I didn't like is having to pick a side (Fed/Kling); would have preferred just straight Romulan.

Well I've been playing through the new Klingon stuff. Looks like all the old Klingon PVP missions are back and you can't get the tribble doff rewards for your Klingon until you hit the pre-Legacy of Romulus starting rank.

I've reached Centurion (and am currently Lv 11), flying around in my Romulan warbird, with my Romulan (and one Fed) crew. So far, I'm having a lot of fun! The missions are interesting, the characters are interesting, and I like the storyline. So far, so good!

Hey did anyone notice that the Rator System is now on the right side of the Neutral Zone.
