i'm gonna say Wildcat. i have no evidence really, just going with my gut. also, issue zero was the first issue i didn't enjoy. i don't care for ambiguously evil Terry Sloan.

I find Terry interesting because he doesn't seem to think he's evil, he just thinks he's right.

Kind of like Lex though, not fully, but partially. He reminded me of Alexander Luthor specifically.

    More like Ozymandias, surely.

I may or may mot get anything today, but eventually this week I'll get Demon Knights, Green Lantern Corps (only for Guy's new origin), and Batman and Robin (to see how/if it holds together with Batman Inc).

They are definitely derived from the same set of tropes.

Those covers tell you nothing about the stories, unless they do, and it's more "Justice League vs Splash Pages" arcs. And I say this someone who has generally liked JL and loves Ivan Reis.

I'm guessing year two is going to focus on the Trinity War...those look like pure splash page covers.

Superman and Shazam together on the same team has always seemed a little redundant. Also, I find it odd seeing a Justice League with no Green Lantern. John or Guy won't step up? On the bright side, Lee leaving the book will finally either confirm or deny whether it's actually Johns writing this thing or not. I'm hoping to see a turnaround in the quality, then.

That's probably the biggest reason why I'm excited about this change...we will get to see if this book is actually Johns work, or if Lee co-plotted as mentioned in the thread before.

Yeah. I know there's probably people who will flame me for this, but dammit I like Geoff Johns! His Green Lantern, Flash, and Aquaman have all been great stuff. He's revitalized so many characters and turned them into favorites. The fact that his Justice League has been so lackluster makes me wonder what the heck is going on, especially when Hal and Arthur both act so differently in that book than they do in their solo titles. Lee co-plotting is an answer that makes sense.

Aquaman is so superior to Justice League now in my opinion, and has been since last year that there is no comparison to me.

Maybe at some point they'll DO something with Cyborg. He just sorta stands around... It's a lousy book.

I just hope AM doesn't fall apart when the new creative staff takes over.

What new creative team? Johns and Reis are remaining on it. They're basically doing two books now.

The article says not, from what I read...but of course that could change at any time. For now though they're working on both books.
