I wish there had been more literature written about Garak. I would love a very non-Trek-like alt ending to DS9, in which the Changlings face a greater reprisal than they received from the Federation post-war.

Have you read The Fall mini-series? It has some very good featuring of Garak.

Can The Brave and The Bold's Voyager story and Double Helix: Quarantine take place in the same continuity?

Didn't the BatB Voyager story actually reference Quarantine? I vaguely remember something like that.

It's been so long, what's the issue?

Does anyone know the status of @8of5? S/he's gone radio silent. The TrekCollective website and Twitter have not been updated since 23 September. :(

I was wondering the same. I sent him an eMail a couple of minutes ago, so hopefully I'll get a reply from James / @8of5.

I tweeted him yesterday to no response. I hope everything is ok with him and perhaps he's just taking a break from the interwebs.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one wondering about him. Trek Collective is one of my main sources for Trek merchandise news, and I was surprised we didn't get updates for the new book stuff posted here the last couple weeks.

I was browsing through Voyages of Imagination and came upon some interesting tidbits about the Genesis Wave/Genesis Force books. Vornholt says that in GW Book Three he reused Teska, a character from his own Mind Meld, and that in GF, he reused further guest characters he had created.

Has anyone read the books and knows more? Do more Vornholt books need to be added to the larger continuity?

Coincidentally I came across the Teska link last month. I havent had a chance to add it to the Litverse Reading Guide yet. But knowing about these other potential links in GW3 has me intrigued. Hopefully someone has more info as I haven't read it for years.

The Trek Collective's chart was the first place I went to when figuring out where to start in the lit-verse and which books to buy. I hope 8of5 is doing fine and is able to return to the site (and chart) soon. In the meantime, the Lit-verse reading guide has been very helpful in helping me catch up.

Thanks! And if 8of5 doesn't return (which seems likely at this point) @Thrawn already has an open invitation for hosting the next version of the Flowchart.

I'm glad to hear that, I had actually been thinking of recommending it.

As @ryan123450 said, @Thrawn has had an open invitation by him and myself to host future versions ever since this posting in January:

I wonder if his plans to start on a new version this month still stands? Thrawn?

Dang! I'm not the only game in town! :( :rommie:

Seriously though, your site is awesome @Defcon. Wherever the Flowchart ends up, if Thrawn gets it updated, the main thing is that it's an another awesome resourse to fans of Treklit.

I hope my post didn't appear as me challenging you for the rights to host the flowchart, as I think it doesn't have to be either/or, if Thrawn is game it could be hosted on both sites to maximize the exposure.

If he wants it in only one place I would say your site is the thematically more fitting place, though. :bolian:
