    Yes. And I think the film wouldn't use 'The Cage' like uniforms for the early scenes as they would be too similar to the Enterprise uniforms. And really, there's no real reason to think the Kelvin must have such uniform designs.

    What? You don't think Trekkies need to reconcile starship registry numbers? You haven't spent nearly enough time in Trekkie land my friend.

    I haven't seen much of them, but there doesn't seem to be much sign of rank insignia or other such things.

    Look like they sorta have a yoke type thing around the shoulds. Fuck, they stole an idea for a variant uniform I had years ago for an RPG I was in. LOL

    Right down the slacks and belt!

    Maybe the "0" is just the center of a bullseye...telling the bad guys where to shoot....kinda like saying..."go ahead...shoot me here (where I'm wearing a bulletproof vest)" ?
