    Loved it (and I thought they already remade it with Dredd?)

    I kid, I kid! :p

    Nah, the Raid absolutely blew my mind watching it. Sure, maybe the story itself wasn't spectacular but that's not what it was designed for. The fight choreography and action scenes were phenomenally well-made. The only real negative for me, and it was only slight, was that the final fight seemed to drag on too long.

    I thought both The Raid and Dredd were concomitant

    I'm pretty sure Dredd had its central premise in place way before The Raid.

    Both films are excellent though I'm not sure why The Raid necessitates a remake; it's not exactly a difficult film to follow even in a foreign language.

    Can you remade the Raid in an American settings?!? You raid with a SWAT team a drug lord palace for HOURS and none bother about it?
