did you auto detect or manually config your audio in AFU setup?

did the sound test pass in the initial install?

the dosbox setting for sound is:

    Port: 220
    IRQ: 7

Nice phone btw. I wanted one, but the Triumph was my only high end option on Virgin Mobile.

Auto detect. I did think that might be an issue, I didn't really pay attention to the install process, it was taking a while. I'll reinstall and look more closely.

Yeah it's a great phone, I had to do some negotiation to get it from Vodafone. I threatened to leave, so they gave it to me for free since I'd been with them over a decade. Finally the system works for me!

Sorry to bump this, but I got AFU working on my Nexus 7, and it's running quite nicely. The midi music is a bit stuttery, but the vocals are fine. It's running smoothly, and it's easy to use since it's a point-and-click game.

Thanks to Borjis again, still very useful advice two years on!

I'm really impressed that it's possible to run a 1995 DOS game on my swanky tablet computer. Makes you feel a bit more optimistic about digital preservation etc.

Thanks for the update! Will have a go on my HTC Desire HD to see how it works if I ever get the time. Ideal for taking away on holiday to play with on the deck chair.

I so wish the thread resurrection was to announce that there was a way for this to work on an iPhone.

Ah yeah, doubt that'll happen any time soon. You could obviously get it working on a Windows 8 tablet without too much difficulty, and it's simple on Android.

Haha I love that this thread was resurrected.

I recently bought a Nook HD+, if any of you are on the fence because of price,
you should pick one up at barnes & noble. The 16gb version is only $ 140 and
some office max stores are only charging $ 99 (in store only)

I picked up the 32gb model for $ 180, still a great price.

It is 9 inches and retina display!

I have 25th anniversary, Judgement Rites and A Final Unity all working flawlessly.

and btw, these games ALL run WAY better with DosBox Turbo on the android market.
you might have to tweak individual .conf files for each game to get them running just right.

Yeah I'm using DosBox Turbo too. It's really easy to set up, and you get to manage the individual conf files in a nice interface. I need to sort out Judgement Rites and 25th Anniversary next. How are the controls for the battle sequences? They were hard enough with a real mouse and keyboard!

not easy...i think a single tap is photons and fast double tap is phasers.

I end up spending a lot more time on those battles than I did playing
    it on a pc.

oh and you can get much better sound if you disable the turbo audio.
it's always on by default and the voices sound horrible at that audio rate.

    Hey there!
I'd love to play on my rather new Deice (Xiaomi Mi Mix 3) Unity again, but no matter what I end up with the known

    sosDIGIInitDriver

    error.

I'm Magic DosBox with is a DREAM because it's very handy, easy to use etc. Does anyone have some free time and want to try getting final unity running? It's free by now and you can download it legally so, perhaps someone wants to try?

I'd be happy about any help :)

I tried with Windows 10 and a CD of the game but no joy. All I got was error messages and no patience to go through them.
