Trailer looks brilliant (haven't yet seen the SB spot). I thought I might miss the WW2 setting but I don't think I will now.

This looks like it has the potential to be the best Marvel movie yet. I can see why the Marvel brass are so eager to get started on a third film.

I'm not even a Captain America fan (I was bored to tears by the first movie) but this one looks amazing. Hopefully Chris Evans brings the same kind of charisma he brought to The Avengers to this one, although fortunately he looks very lively in the trailers.

They kind of gave away Winter Soldier's not-so-secret identity with that close-up of his unmasked face.

At least he had black spray paint on his eyes ;)

I've been very curious to see how the advertising is going to treat the Winter Soldier's identity. I'd like to think they'll keep it a secret, but who knows.

They've had close-ups of his face for quite awhile. I think they figure the die-hards will know anyway, casual fans probably won't remember what the actor looked like anyway (now with long hair), and the middle group who might figure it out should probably be on the same page as those who know. It obviously can't be the greatest secret in the world. I don't think they'll show clips of Rogers finding out, though, that's worth seeing in theaters.

It says right there on IMDb, "Sebastian Stan... Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier." They aren't exactly trying to pull a John Harrison here.

It's the first time I've seen an obvious close-up. Previous trailers went out of their way to keep his features obscured.

And doesn't IMDb consist of user contributions? That entry wouldn't necessarily signify the filmmakers' intent.

That trailer was great. Really looking forward to this one.

IMDB isn't Marvel, although I agree with your overall point.

Been rummaging through the non-Anglophone editions of the trailer today. Looks like the content gets varied...very slightly...between them. Japanese, Russian, Polish, German...

Incidentally, the title for release in Germany? The Return of the First Avenger.

Which, if they actually used German might be...Rückkehr des ersten Rächers.

The film has already achieved one thing--it's made Falcon look like a badass hero.

I used to wonder what Falcon was doing in The Avengers (the comic book title, back in the 80's). All he could do was fly. No other powers or weapons. He did not impress.

I wonder why the German title didn't just call it The Winter Soldier if they didn't want to call it Captain America.

Because the first one was released there with the title of The First Avenger, so that's the title they're carrying through for branding purposes in some foreign territories. It's a branding that aligns the movie with The Avengers more than calling it The Winter Soldier would.

Wow, both the trailer and the SB spot were amazing! I didn't think I could possibly be any more excited, but after those I am.

    Der Winter-Soldat?

Wondering if there isn't already something with that title that's been on German movie and/or TV screens...

Two great trailers in a row. I didn't care much for the first movie, but I'm really looking forward to this one.

Here's the new UK trailer (it has a glimpse of Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter):

If this rumor about the post-credit scene is true...

...Then Marvel will get their versions of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch out before FOX after all!
