All 11? This sounds too good to be true. http://airlockalpha.com/node/9506/r...eston-returns-for-doctor-who-anniversary.html
Eccleston's name is mentioned 12 times in that story. Was it so hard to copy is and spell it correctly?
Shame they couldn't get Eccleston back but had to settle for a ginger headed irishman named Ecclestone
You all know Bernie Ecclestone was proved to be a Time Lord at the end of the BBC coverage of the Brazilian Grand Prix last year? (Jake Humphrey was his previous incarnation, and regenerated)... So there's the anniversary surprise- Bernie is the Valeyard!
Airlock Alpha is the same rag that regularly prints tabloid gossip as "news" and gave Star Trek: Nemesis a glowing review upon release, no? It's worth taking this report with a grain of salt, I think.
Ah, but as already pointed out, in this case Airlock Alpha is merely quoting another source, that well-known bastion of journalistic integrity... the Birmingham Mail.
No reason to impugn their journalistic integrity. But I'm not sure they have a major track record of breaking major showbiz scoops.
To contribute to this thread's piss-take of mixing up actor's names, I would just like to point out a mistake my local newspaper made in an article earlier in the month about those 50th anniversary clooector stamps: they said the First Doctor was played by William Hartnett. And I'll just finish up with something about David Teninch (which is actually his nickname).
