^Good Lord, I hope so. I never thought I'd get this thing off of the ground. Next step is the editing. And then that baby's gettin' uploaded to Smashwords. 45,071 and counting.
Nice job, CD!!! I broke 31k the other day, well on track and above par to reaching 50k (and possibly 60). It's been a lot of fun so far
I hit 54k today. I'm officially sick of this thing and I want to punch it. Can't wait till the 25th to validate and get some closure on this thing.
I do this every year. I spend September and October getting really exciting about NaNo, and then when November hits, I lose all motivation.
I think maybe 62,000? I'll still have some loose ends to tie up, but that will make for a solid part one (or book one) and I can start editing. Thinking I may continue it after that, as well . What about you? Still writing past the 50k mark?
Do you think you'll keep writing this winter even if you don't hit 50k? I think Nano is really just supposed to be a good personal motivator.
I dunno. The truth is I just don't make time for it. I used to write all the time when I was younger, but it just isn't the priority that it used to be.
Not this year. I'm combining two 20k projects, so I really could've knocked off at 50k this year and been okay. I ink last year I did about 60k. I'm done at 55,480. So glad I can take a break before I start editing this and start outlining the fiction I have planned to work on for next month. And Agreed.
