More shots of my Junior. Seriously, when I got this keyboard, I had no idea that it came with a cat glued to it.

"Seriously? You're going to play that game AGAIN?"

circa 1982 - me and Sara, the first cat I ever loved. The feeling was clearly mutual.

AW! I don't know what's more cute--kissing the kitty, or the footie pajamas.

Here's Hubby holding Junior. If you want some idea of scale, Hubby is 6 foot, 4 inches tall. So yes, Junior is a very big kitty.

Wow. I knew he would big a big fluff ball as that's a Maine Coon thing, but it still interesting to see how big he's gotten. What does he weigh? My 1 year old orange tabby is 12.5 lbs now.

Oh! How I love Junior...and that's what I need...a very big cat, so I can see him and be able to avoid running over him with my wheelchair. cats have such a habit of falling asleep in back of my chair where I can't see them.

Now that is one ginormous cat.

Would seem to require the Rammstein version of the soft kitties/warm kitties song.

Junior is about 17 pounds. He needs too lose a little weight but he's also very big--stretched out, he's well over three feet, not including tail. His tail alone is about 18 inches long. He's a Maine Coon so he's supposed to be a big boy. He's also extremely fluffy. ;)

I played with the park cats today. One-eyed kitty is taking nicely to the park, is very friendly but a little skittish, and the other cats are tolerating him.

However today was unusual. I'm about to leave when I hear a rustle in the bushes. Out from under the dead leaves and other things fallen from the trees. Out from under it pops a turtle head. The turtle not only starts coming to me, but comes faster when I call out to it. It stops about ten inches from me, where the cat food is. I tip the plastic container holding the food over for the turtle. He proceeds to eat the cat food. Finally, Mr. Turtle has had his fill and the cats appear to annoy him, so he goes back off to his hiding place.

This is not the first time we've had a turtle know where the cat food is and come when they are fed. Hell, it may be the same turtle.
