I've actually been fully upgraded, and made it past the last two missions I was having problems with yesterday, thanks to Scout and Timelord. I also got a crash course in starship combat, so I'm doing much better now.

I just played for a few minutes to collect and start my doffs and when I exited the game the launcher started and dl'd a rather large patch, anyone else?

That's the game pre-patching in preparation for next week's season 8 launch (a huge 2.3gb patch). So on launch day (Nov 12), you will only have to do a relatively minor patch and can play immediately rather than waste time downloading a huge patch.

Okay, I'll ask again since they've added additional guests - Anyone from the fleet coming for Destination Star Trek in Frankfurt? I decided to purchase a silver ticket package since my friend that attended in London said it was a good value.

During starship combat, what key do you hit to cycle to your next enemy target? I seem to have forgotten.

Tab is the default.
You can change the key mapping to whatever you like, though.

Where O where have the KDF players gone?
Where O where could they beeeeeeeee?

I filled the tier 1 upgrade for the Trade track in the KDF dilithium mine, so this gives us:

• 
  New Provisioned Requisitions
• Equipment: (Ultra-Rare) Advanced Engineering Armor Consoles Mk X
• Equipment: (Ultra-Rare) Advanced Engineering RCS Consoles Mk X
  Unlocks
• Item and Commodity Input Project Discount I (4% Discount)

As it looks like I'm at present the most active KDF player, here's my plan:

One more mine development track project will open the tier one Development upgrade, and I'll work to fill that for the warp/singularity cores.

After that, upgrade the mine itself to Tier 1. This will ensure that the House has a 4% discount on Fleet Mark, Commodity and Dilithium requirements for our holdings.

Then, finish the tier 2 upgrade for the Industrial Fabricator, and access to Advanced Fleet Space Weapons and Engines.

I'm going to ignore the Spire at least until this point. The idea is to get members of the House basic access to fleet goodies without having to rely on invites to other starbases. I definitely welcome any assistance, and also new KDF members. Fed side is clicking along nicely, but KDF is lagging with fewer people.

I made a few contributions to the KDF projects the other day. Didn't see any other players on the KDF side.

If you want to do something with my toon, currently in a BOP refit. Can switch to carrier if needed.

sorry, haven't been on my KDF toon in forever. Used to use 3-4 different ones, but with how cost-intensive the rep system has been, I've really cut it down to my primary and a romulan I've been working on.

Further this game goes, the less that alts are useful for anything beyond roleplaying. I've got way too much stuff on the primary, can't transfer it, and can't even get most of it again, so...

I want to see the Fed side Embassy and Mine get to tier 2. After that has happened, I will focus my resources towards the KDF side. I acquired a freighter for my KDF character Kaeso, so I will be able to purchase cheap commodities, and let other KDF characters aboard to do so as well.

Yeah, the Rep sponsoring is a step in the right direction. Though you still need to complete t5 on at least one toon to get benfits for your alts for each rep.

Needs to move along faster, but it's a nice touch. Once you've poured enough into the rep to get to T5, should be MUCH cheaper to bring an alt along as well. Twice as fast is nice, but IMO should be even better. I've got a couple original alts I don't play basically because they're too far behind now and too expensive to catch up.
