I'm not much of a cross-stitcher.... ....but that chart makes me want to build ST-characters w. beads! You know, the kind you melt together with an iron... perhaps even the tiny ones; then I could make each character small enough to make ear rings from them
I needed a composite cable with 3.5 mm jacks at both ends. I know: who needs a composite cable these days? But I really needed it to plug my media-player into a wireless transmission-device (instead of drilling holes in the floor and pulling a cable from the living room into the cellar (and sometimes further: into the yard)), you see both devices only have that small hole and both devices came with 3.5 mm jack to RCA-connector-cables. The guy in the store couldn't even tell me if the cable I needed even existed! -Instead he sold me a couple of these: I saved a bit though - the tv, I'm connecting this way, is only mono so I only needed two couplers
My newest purchase is a part for the shower to stop it from leaking. My new place just new that I was going to own it and decided to wait until the day after I signed the title and deed before breaking.
Bought some farecards online for my upcoming trips: CharmCard for Baltimore (April) and SmarTrip for DC (September).
I just bought that TNG Blu-ray thing for myself off of Amazon last night. Screw flowers, that's my Valentine present to myself!
Way to go I would rather make these things myself than buying them. That said, I did find the site of another trekkie on-line (it's amazing what you can find on-line!) who'd already pulled numerous soundbites from Trek and had them there free to download... The only part of the sound environment on my pad that wasn't trek, the incoming text-message-sound, was changed to the TNG door chime this week! Since my pad is a Nokia I find it only natural to use the so-called 'futurized' version of the Nokia-tune as my ringtone
The last time I had a tone like that, it went off in public and I got laughed at. We'll see if things are any different this time around.
