Has anyone heard of possible ENT references in the next movie? The two from the last movie ("Admiral Archer's prized beagle" and "Melvaran mud fleas") were incredibly cool. I hope there is more this time around.

I want Connor Trinneer standing on a London street corner holding a cardboard sign saying "I didn't die":)

Or maybe Matt Winston hidden in the background, like one of the Observers on Fringe. It'd certainly generate a lot of speculation.

    Seriously, though...
It could be argued that the Klingon helmets in Into Darkness (and the deleted scenes of Star Trek) are a big Enterprise reference themselves. They were supposedly conceived because JJ and co. weren't sure originally if to have bumpy-headed Klingons or TOS-style smooth ones.

In Into Darkness we will see a few Klingons unmasked (they have TNG-style bumps), but not all. So the backstory of "Affliction"/"Divergence", where a Klingon colony world but not the entire Empire was infected with the Augment virus won't be ignored or contradicted.

I've always wanted Daniels to appear in the background. Just put the actor there, don't even draw attention to him and I'll be super happy.

    This.

And it would be nice if T'Pol survived the destruction of Vulcan and made a pivotal appearance.

Shouldn't be too hard. After all not all Vulcans were on Vulcan, right?

    But no ass shot, please!

I want Winston talking to Shatner, saying something like, "And see, all we need to do in order to restore the original timeline is ...."

As well as Klingons King Daniel mentioned, there seems to be more speculation now about Soong Augments. But unlikely.

Whether intentional or not (probably coincidence), I'm seeing touches that look borrowed from ENT.

Spock's volcano suit looks like the EV ones NX-01 crew occasionally stepped outside wearing.

There's a type of flightsuit too, with what looks like dept colours near the shoulders.

Again an unlikely connection, but we've yet to find out exactly who Peter Weller is playing.

If Daniels would fix the timeline I'd forgive him for all his time travel nonsense on Enterprise. :p

There's nothing wrong with the timeline.

How so? Nothing happened to the timeline. It's still there.

The department-colour stripes on the wetsuits at the start of Into Darkness are very Enterprise.

I've just seen Into Darkness, and loved it:D

No real spoiler here, but just in case an ENT fan wants to try and spot it for themselves I'm tagging it.
There is a model of the NX-01 Enterprise in Admiral Marcus' office!:D Along with the NX-Alpha from "First Flight"

And other discussion of any possible story line similarities should be kept to the STXI+ forums' spoiler threads, at least until HopefulRomantic gets to see it!:)

Sounds cool, KD. Already booked to go see it tomorrow night. Not expecting much. Hopefully I'll have a great couple of hours at best... Later that night, some delayed reaction nerdrage will likely kick in!

    King Daniel speaks wisely.

Remember to use those spoiler tags as if your lives depended on it, folks, because if you wreck this for me, I will come down on you like the wrath of God.

This includes any reasonable speculation that might end up being true. You people are sharp-- your idle musings might be more accurate than you realize.

And of course, if you see the film, just shut up and stay away from me. Thank you.

I would love to see just one short Dax appearance.

There's definitely room for some of the Ent characters to still be alive but I don't see them having any more than easter egg appearances if any.

NuTrek is more a remake to Star Trek than a new installment of it.
