    Sisko's Quarters...

Sisko: At 0800 hours, station time, the Romulan Empire formally declared war against the Dominion. They have already struck fifteen bases along the Cardassian border.
So, this is a huge victory for the good guys. This may even be the turning point of the entire war. There's even a 'Welcome to the Fight' party tonight in the wardroom. So I lied, I cheated, I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But most damning thing of all, I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again, I would. Garak was right about one thing. A guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha Quadrant, so I will learn to live with it. Because I can live with it. I can live with it. Computer, erase that entire personal log.

Dang, I never realized how few lines were in this one. But, with so many long ones, it's not that surprising.

Same here, I thought it was wordier, but long lines, not more lines.

    Congratulations to all participants!
I think DS9 has the highest ratio of wordy lines in the franchise. Those people had a lot to talk about.:p

Well done to all! I'm curious as to whether this was the shortest round of "Line-by-Line"?

I meant in terms of number of posts, not time. :)

Possibly. The number of pages would suggest so; however I can't find the TAS episode we did, that could hold the record.

    And well done by all.

We don't ordinarily say please to food dispensers.

Well, since it’s listed as “intelligent circuitry,” why not? After all working with so much artificial intelligence can be dehumanizing, right? So why not combat that tendency with a little simple courtesy? Ah. Thank you.

For someone who just arrived, you certainly aren't shy with your opinions.

Oh I do tend to have a bit of a motor mouth especially when I’m excited, and you don’t know how exciting it is to have gotten this assignment.

    ^ finishing....

Everyone in class, I mean everyone, wants the Enterprise. I mean, it would have been all right to spend some time on Reiner Six doing phase work with anti-matter. That's my specialty.

I know. That's why you got this assignment.

^^^ Actually there is a break, an Ensign interrupts her and hands Geordi a PADD and says:
Excuse me Lieutenant.(It's not in the transcripts but clearly heard on the DVD.)

Everyone in class, I mean everyone, wants the Enterprise. I mean it would have been alright to spend sometime on Ranous VI, do phase work with antimatter. That’s my specialty.

That’s why you got this assignment.

    Next line:

    I did it again. It’s just that….
