For all my fanfics, I like to cast actors/models/etc in the roles so that in my mind I at least know what they look like.

Anyways, I've hit a snag with a new character I'm developing, in that I'm not sure what way to go with casting them. The character is a Joined Trill male called Doctor Timod Lahn, he is a civilian scientist specialising in anthropology, history and languages. He is very much an academic, not out in the field that often, but also has lifetimes of experience and knowledge to draw upon as well (thinking he is perhaps the seventeenth Host). However I'm not sure whether to make Timod young or old.

This is pretty much open season, any age between mid-20s to mid-50s, any race. Thoughts and suggestions please.

    Many thanks.

    Hey, Bry.

This is just off the top of my head and I don't even know if he meets your requirements. However, have you considered using Robert Sean Leonard? He used to portrayed Dr. James Wilson from House.

Him or Burn Gorman who portrayed Dr. Owen Harper from Torchwood would be my suggestions at this moment. I hope that's helpful for you.

    :)

Look at Anthony Edwards as Dr. Greene in the early seasons of the TV show E.R.

If your character is meant to be a bit alien/weird, being such an old Trill, and if you can entertain the idea of him being abit of an eccentric scientist, I'd recommend Jon Pertwee as a template. He could be young or old - though he did play the Doctor as an eccentric scientist when he was older.
