It's the picking: picking cherries takes a bit of skill No, really! -I've 'been in the cherries' as a kid (and in the strawberries, and in the apples (and sometimes even in a lot of trouble for picking before I was hired...) in my youth (typical kids job here, where the suburbs lay way out in dairy country ) I bought my first fresh local strawberries yesterday
