I love everything this picture implies about the natural world, the human mind, and gestaltism, and the quirkiness and springlike colors it employs in doing so. It's not a caterpillar!
^Looks like you're right, the one's on my desktop are just adorably puffy to keep out the cold. They're too fucking cute for words!
I don't like bugs. At all. Still, it does look colorful and beautiful. Believe me, that's as good as it gets concerning bugs. Nature is amazing, though. It elicits so much wonder. It's almost magical, except the natural world is better than magic.
You need to look closer, hun, there's no bug in that picture! Picture in question: And from M's link:
Speaking of desks, I thought this one was pretty cool. It's actually from a 1959 Plymouth Fury, not a 1958 like Christine, but that doesn't take away from the coolness:
I would drive that desktop everywhere! Updated my wallpaper. I've also been trying out the Stardock bar to see if I like it. I've always liked the dock in OSX, so wanted to give this a shot. So far it's pretty cool, and light on resources. Of course, Fluttershy is the subject of this wallpaper, thanks to this week's episode (though this image doesn't appear in that episode, but is instead a nice digital image by someone), and I just love the light work in it. Also, Fluttershy's adorable.
Updated my Desktop to a picture I took while on vacation at Walt Disney World, Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom.
