MTV has given us our first look at the Marvel Select Ant-Man movie figure:

    Scott Lang approves this figure.

The first promo ran at the end of Agent Carter and has been on YouTube for a week. Anything about the scale for these?

Diamond Select's Marvel Select figures are all made at a 7" scale. So about 7 inches, give or take.

Looks good. I still wish the movie was about Hank and Janet, though. :( I want the real Ant-Man and Wasp! You know, two of the original Avengers? :p

Any news about Age of Ultron figures? Can't wait to add Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision to my Shelf Avengers!

Big figure is about 7". Mini-figure is 1.75" and non-poseable.

Ant-Man looks pretty good, and is probably the best non-Hot Toys figure we'll get. I think it's a safe assumption that we won't be seeing any Legends from Hasbro for this film.

I would have expected the small version to be smaller...

Came across this excellent customs gallery. I haven't had a chance to look at all of it yet, but he seems to do some very nice work. Jubilee is one good example.

ETA: Winston Churchill doesn't get that many action figures, but this one is awesome.

Jin Saotome is probably one of if not the best known customizers out there. His stuff is really impressive and always worth looking at. I wish I had the money to be able to get some of his stuff.

I'm thinking we could get an Ant-Man Legends figure after the film comes out. I for one would love to have a comic based Scott Lang figure myself. I've become a big fan since Fraction's Future Foundation run.

And so all things must end. DC Universe Classics, possibly my favorite toy line of all time, has released its final figure. Though it sputtered across the finish line through questionable character choices, horrific and insulting customer service, and an ocean of other problems, it did end with a bang. Fitting that the line should die with the monster that killed the DC Universe's greatest hero. Doomsday has come:

And damn it, he is a contender for the very best figure from the line. A masterpiece. I wish Mattel had been able to maintain this level of quality through the whole thing. He's also huge. Maybe a bit too big, but Doomsday has never really had a consistent scale.

Plus side: I never ever have to deal with MattyCollector.com again. I am free, and it can rot.

In a toy line known for being adorable, this crosses the line in to previously unknown levels of daaaaaaaaaaw.

Those guys managed to make Tony Montana look completely, cheek-pinchingly adorable. If you can do that for a notorious Cuban drug lord with questionable '80s fashion tastes then they can make anything cute.

The Funko Pop figures are seriously convincing me to start collecting them. I want the Locutus figure when he comes out later this spring.

Another mini American Girl! Saige, the Girl of the Year from 2013.

I did a mini cross stitch of Starfox. I think it looks just like him!

It really does look like him, you know. :) That's pretty good work there. Is this one to keep or sell?

Keep! Can't sell it, I didn't design it.
