Sort of off-topic, but I was surprised to see PR creator Haim Saban having a discussion with President Obama when I was flipping through channels. They are speaking at the annual Saban Forum, which is organized by the Saban Center for Middle East Policy
, which is apparently named after Haim Saban himself.
The Saban Center for Middle East Policy is a center for research within the Brookings Institution focused on the United States' involvement in the Middle East. It was founded in May 2002 and according to its website, “The Saban Center conducts original research and develops innovative programs to promote a better understanding of the policy choices facing American decision makers in the Middle East.”
I had no idea he was so involved in this area. Interesting.
