Video editing is a hobby of mine and I created an instrumental electronica rock tribute to Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (track listings below). This contiguous tribute contains clip from (order of appearance) Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Marvel One-Shot (various), and The Avengers. The video is a little over 30 minutes so view if you have time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDnaKL_9ozk [YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDnaKL_9ozk[/YT] 00:00 - "Norway 956AD" Song: Freeze And Pixillate By: Monster Magnet From: Thor 00:52 - "Norway 1942" Song: Spitting Out The Demons By: Gorillaz From: Captain America: The First Avenger (CA:TFA) 02:01 - Captain America Origin Song: Cells (Insrumental) By: The Servant From: CA:TFA 04:23 - Iron Man and Hulk Origin Song: Supermassive Black Hole (Instrumental) By: Muse From: Iron Man (IM), The Incredible Hulk (TIH) 07:35 - "Iron Man and Hulk" Song: Throw It On Me (Instrumental) (Extended) By: Timbaland From: IM, TIH 10:13 - "Thor and Iron Man" Song: Session By: Linkin Park From: Thor, IM 12:36 - "Heroes Gather" Song: Smack My B***h Up (Edited to Instrumental) By: The Prodigy From: Thor, IM, Iron Man 2 (IM2), CA:TFA 17:20 - "Fine Tuning" Song: 07 Ghosts I By: Nine Inch Nails From: IM2, Thor 19:20 - "The Need for Super Heroes" Song: 35 Ghosts IV By: Nine Inch Nails From: Thor, IM2 22:22 - "Heroes Rise" Song: Pork-U-Pine (Edited to Instrumental) By: Jeff Beck From: Thor, IM2 24:34 - "Heroes Unite" Song: Animus Vox By: The Glich Mob From: CA:TFA, Thor, IM2, The Avengers (TA) 29:41 - "The Push" Song: All Alone (Shortened) By: Gorillaz From: TA 32:01 - "The Avengers" Song: F***in' In The Bushes (Edited to Instrumental) By: Oasis From: TA
I tried it but it tells me the video I'm uploading is too large (1.1GB) Edit: Exporting a low def version now.
There is something called Hola, an extension for the Chrome browser, that allows one the access Geo blocked sites...never used it, but perhaps you could google it and see if it would allow you to view the video after installing.
Theoretically, one could find a YouTube downloader and grab the Hard File from a third-party site. Not sure of the legalities of downloading banned material but I say it's worth it.
There's a thirty minute wait to process the video but I uploaded it to Vimeo. This link will work eventually. https://vimeo.com/115137526 Please, let me know if this is blocked anywhere.
I have to tell you, I looked at it and saw that it was 35 minutes and said to myself, "There is no way I'm watching this whole thing." So I clicked and watched it for a few minutes, next thing I know it's done. Some really excellent choices in music and edits. While I still think it could be a lot shorter, especially if you mixed some of the music together. It was very well done.
^ Thanks. It was tough trying to make it short as it is. I'm sure the songs are banned for its lyrics but I removed (most of) them.
That's good. I was watching Evangelion last night and they had an odd video (Panda Bear something?) No luck on searches. The music was quite hypnotic. Any idea what this was?
After watching Age of Ultron, I decided to go ahead with making part two to this video. Featured clips being blended will be (in order of appearance, timeline-wise, not production) Thor TDW, Agent Carter, Guardians of the Galaxy (just past scene at first), Daredevil (kids story at first) Avengers Age of Ultron (Widow's past just before Tony's*), Iron Man 3, Agents of Shield (scattered throughout the rest of video), and Captain America TWS (followed by the rest of Daredevil, GotG, AoS, and AoU). Even though the new Avengers movie isn't on DVD yet, I honestly think I could piece together a decent tribute just by using the trailers and released clips. I'm currently looking for songs. I changed the title of this video's name to Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One Rock Electronica (and adding "Rock" is noticeably earning me more views per day so far). I'm sticking with the Rock Electronica theme and any suggestions will be appreciated and special thanked on the YouTube page. I already made up my mind and using the Theme from Hot Fuzz by David Arnold to showcase the first episode of AoS. [YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTGoxfj5kno[/YT] *I haven't looked that hard yet, but I think I may have an issue locating a clip of Widow's past. If I can't find it, I'm leaving it out.
I'm leaving it up but the audio for Vimeo isn't linked with the video. I'm not sure why. The YouTube upload works perfectly.
