I'm sorry to hear that. We had a cancer scare with our 7 year old dachshund a few weeks ago. It turned out to be a combination of pancreatitis and diabetes instead. Not great but at least manageable.

 

I'm so sorry for your loss, BJ. It's a tough decision to make, and the right one in most circumstances.

 

I'm sorry, I know it hurts to have to do that but you know when it's time.

 

So sorry for your loss, B.J. It was the right thing to do but it's still difficult to have a pet put to sleep. I've had to go through it several times and it never gets easier.
