Am watching clips tonight and just loved this one for... well... for EVERYTHING.

From Janeway's boredom with the interview to her shock at the accusation to her exasperation and her revelation that shocked, SHOCKED Tom and Harry and... if Vulcans showed shock, Tuvok himself. :guffaw:

Since we don't have Seven in the last clip... here's a great one which always makes me smile... EXCEPT when Seven goes the wrong way in the hall and Janeway grabs her. That part makes me LAUGH outloud!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4ZkF-qRhp8

Speaking of cast members missing in action, this scene shows why Chakotay and Tuvok should have teamed up more often. "I look forward to reading it." :vulcan:

See... I told you they made a great comedy team! :rommie:

Of course... TPTB preferred the "So you think you can dance" trek team in this bittersweet clip.
    :adore:

Oh, and lest we forget... there was ANOTHER great comedy team onboard that never got enough time. "Call sickbay... there's about to be a medical emergency!" :klingon:  :borg:

Heh, I used to be able to say that with my old sig. Not that this one isn't a favorite, it's just not VOY.

Oh without a f**king doubt, my favorite scene is from "Prey" but I can't decide whether it's the scene between Seven and Janeway in her ready room or the scene at the end

    SEVEN: Yes. It is puzzling.
    JANEWAY: What's that?
SEVEN: You made me into an individual. You encouraged me to stop thinking like a member of the Collective, to cultivate my independence and my humanity, but when I try to assert that independence I am punished.
JANEWAY: Individuality has its limits, especially on a Starship where there's a command structure.
SEVEN: I believe that you are punishing me because I do not think the way you do, because I am not becoming more like you. You claim to respect my individuality, but in fact you are frightened by it.
    JANEWAY: As you were.

The first time I watched that I remember shouting "BAM! TAKE THAT BITCH!" pretty loudly, watching season 4 was just a fantastic experience, Seven truly was a huge breath of fresh air to a stale show.

One of my favorite comedic scenes is Seven in "Bliss".
It's very subtle but I find it hilarious.

Seven- "Access the Captain's personal logs."
    Computer- "Access denied"

Seven walks over to a computer panel in the the wall, removes one single chip from it.

    Computer- "Access granted!"

Not sure why this one came to mind -- it might just be because I like Unimatrix Zero and the dream world they created -- but I think this one is classic: the little boy asks the queen if being a Borg is fun, and she answers haltingly, "Yes, it's...fun." The word stumps her a moment. It's a great scene. I heart Susanna Thompson. She could be hidden under a gorilla costume, and I'd recognize her awesome voice.

It was the voice that made my ears perk up, several years ago, when I was listening to an NCIS episode where she played an Army Officer. Didn't "recognize" her in the uniform, but couldn't ignore that voice.

^ I really luvved her on NCIS; unfortunate she did not know of Gibbs's predilection for redheads. I'm sure he'd have fallen for a certain other naval officer of the correct hue.

That last scene between them, when she tells him how much his wife loved the letters.

God, I love that scene. Mulgrew does "tired" and "perturbed" so very well, doesn't she?

I love that whole ep, unfortunately not enough clips of "Persistence of vision" are found on Youtube.

For instance, I love the quiet ending, between Janeway and Torres.

TORRES: I'm surprised to see you here, Captain. Isn't this the day that you're usually in the holodeck with your novel?
JANEWAY: I thought, after our recent experience, that I'd take a break from fantasy for a while. (Does she stay away until Fairhaven?)
TORRES: I don't blame you. I think it had quite an impact on all of us. Do you think it's true? That the alien was reading our minds, creating images from our own experiences?
JANEWAY: It seemed that way. He had uncanny ability to bring buried thoughts out into the open. Why?
TORRES: Oh, it's just, I experienced something I'd rather not admit.
JANEWAY: I know. Me too. But, in a way, maybe he did us all a favour. Maybe it's better to look those feelings in the eye than to keep them locked up inside.
TORRES: (Who's dealing with the aftermath of a very erotic dream where Chakotay has a starring role...) I guess. I'll have to think about that. I have an early watch tomorrow, so I'd better turn in. Good night, Captain.
JANEWAY: Good night, B'Elanna. Sweet dreams.
    TORRES: Thanks. You too.

Loved the fight with the holographic housekeeper, seen in this part of the clip.

Alas, it doesn't show us Janeway's nearly orgasmic response to her coffee icecream, nor her mimicking the crucifixtion in the doorway, after searching her quarters. (Love that backlit moment)

Since I couldn't find the clip I wanted, of Janeway telling Seven, "Sweet dreams" at the end of "Dark Frontier", I waded through this compliation of 20 min of great scenes. (LOVED the first EMH/Neelix/Kes scene = Voyage of the damned) Although the one I marked "here" doesn't "look" light hearted in its beginning, it makes up for it quickly.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJYNJsEB2uk&feature=player_detailpage#t=421s

It has my fav Janeway "look" at 7min21sec... I love how quickly "it" shuts the EMH down! Death glare, setting 5 out of 10. :bolian:

    Is it this one, Bill?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tb-gvdDfXY

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tb-gvdDfXY[/yt]

I really liked Deathwish... especially the humor they managed to sprinkle throughout such a serious subject.

Q: What is this, a ship of the Valkries? :p

Q: May I see you in your chambers, Captain?
JANEWAY: You've been in my chambers enough for one visit, sir. :guffaw:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Qpd3cJkVw

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Qpd3cJkVw[/yt]

But the best might have been when they mixed the seriousness with the humor at the end.

    TUVOK: You assisted his suicide?
Q: Illogical, Tuvok? 1 don't think so. By demanding to end his life, he taught me a little something about my own. He was right when he said the Continuum scared me back in line. I didn't have his courage or his convictions. He called me irrepressible. This was a man who was truly irrepressible. I only hope I make a worthy student.
JANEWAY: I imagine the Continuum won't be very happy with you, Q.
Q: I certainly hope not. Au revoir, Madam Captain. We will meet again.

You know... I love EVERYTHING about the final showdown between JANEWAY and FEAR!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPw8WIwgaxI&feature=player_detailpage#t=60s

JANEWAY: (Circles Fear as she speaks to him) The arrangement was that the others would be released.
CLOWN: You show remarkable trust, Captain. How could you be so sure I would keep my word?
JANEWAY: I've known fear. It's a very healthy thing most of the time. You warn us of danger, remind us of our limits, protect us from carelessness. I've learned to trust fear.
CLOWN: Finally, someone who appreciates me. Am I blushing?
    JANEWAY: Let them go.

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPw8WIwgaxI[/yt]

CLOWN: What will become of us? Of me?
JANEWAY: Like all fear, you eventually vanish.
    CLOWN: (Softly) I'm afraid.
    JANEWAY: I know.
    CLOWN:
    Drat.

Here's another great "ending" scene... this time from "Scientific Method".

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSp9geqULuY

JANEWAY: I don't think you realize... that you are NOT in control here!

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSp9geqULuY[/yt]

Speaking of Scientific Method... it reminds me of how much I love Janeway and Tuvok.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8-917vo9C8

TUVOK: Shall I flog them as well?

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8-917vo9C8[/yt]

Ahhh... an oldie but a goodie.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx5mAd8wiNU

    JANEWAY: ... I don't loke bullies, and I don't like threats...

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx5mAd8wiNU[/yt]

And of course, after a few years in the Delta Quadrant, Janeway has learned to occasionally allow her "inner bully" to come out and "play".
