I bought a couple of Star Wars books and Greg Cox's latest Star Trek novel off of Amazon.com and got The Expendables 3, Predators and The hunger Games on blu-ray
My Family Dollar put out a holiday flyer which said on thursday only ALL toys buy on get one FREE. So, last night about 7 I went into TRU, which says it price matches now, and while I was griping about the lack of reaction figures, I asked the guy in the aisle about the flyer. He said they could not price match until after 10, were going to be open all night and all day friday, and could not price match internet until monday. I left and went back after 10 and picked out 2 MU/Avengers figures. At the register the girl said they could not price match until after midnight. I said that was not what I was told 3 hours ago ( If it had been I would not have gone back, I would have been asleep in bed. ) She called down the line to another person who said the same thing and I repeated what I had been told earlier for everyone present to hear. Then she called a manager who said the same thing and I said the same response back to him. He then asked if he needed to call another manager and I said If that is what you need to do to make this right instead of making it wrong. He then authorized it. Long story short, I got my BOGO. I feel justified because it was managements job to make sure everyone working in the store was on the same page, and they did not. Had that one employee not said what he did, I would not have pressed the issue, and that manager should have recognized that sooner than he did. BTW, I got a Cap and a Wasp. CCC.
In the last week I got Far Cry 4, The Last Of Us (Remastered) and Tales From the Borderlands for my PS4. I also got all 9 seasons of One Tree Hill on DVD. Oh and I got Mulan on Blu-ray.
