Your dream artist
For those of you who know the various comic book artists from yesteryear to today, who would you have liked to have seen draw a TREK comic book..and you can even throw in a writer... I would like to have seen a TOS book drawn by Jim Aparo and written by Steve Englehart...what are some of you suggestions, and you can branch out to the other TREK franchises as well... Rob Scorpio |

Alan Lee (LOTR artist) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Lee http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0496769/ Or Brian Froud. (Labyrinth & Dark Crystal etc.,) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Froud http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0296612/ Re comic book artists, I'd really to see Greg Hildebrandt tackle Trek: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1299903/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Brothers_Hildebrandt (Tim passed away in 2006) http://en.marveldatabase.com/Hildebr...others/Gallery http://brothershildebrandt.com/ http://www.spiderwebart.com/ Love those old LOTR calenders! Re: Your dream artist
Not too keen on Ross. His layouts look more and more staged over the years. I've a feeling it would start to look like a Star Trek Con Costume Contest. I'd like to see Neal Adams take on Star Trek. Alan Davis would be interesting. I believe the late Dave Cockrum did some Trek work. I've always like his stuff and I think he was a fan. A George Perez piece featuring every single alien species seen on screen would be great. Jack Kirby doing Trek would have been a trip.
