Is it just me, or does the redshirt at helm bear a resemblance to John Barrowman?

Is there a non-facebook way to see the clip? :)

Will TheLightWorks continue to work for Phase II?

At the moment, the only non-Facebook alternative way of seeing the clip that I know of involves patience: wait until the scene is integrated into the episode, then download the episode.

Yes, Tobias Richter at TheLightWorks will probably be doing stuff for us for some time to come.

This show is really good looking. The only thing it lacks to make it look really really good is being shot on film, just like TOS.

They can fake that by running the footage through a filter.

And we do exactly that--but I believe it's one of our last steps. If we did it first, then the main scene would look like film and the CGI'ed Arex (or whatever) would look like video. So we just wait until it's all done.

(Even then it doesn't look perfectly like film--but pretty close.)

We're looking forward to shooting on film, though. We're going to send the invoice for the film stock and the developing costs to JarodRussell for payment. Thanks JarodRussell! ;)

I just won the lottery, so bring it. How much more expensive would shooting on film be?

The thought of how much film stock we'd go through seriously caused my head to explode when I read the first post. We can barely afford enough hard drives to hold the episodes and back up the footage (in case of hard drive failure)....

... and well, we wouldn't be able to film all those wonderful bloopers you'll someday see....

But, hey, if you buy the film my husband will develop it all free of charge!

    And we'd need new cameras.
    Oh, and new editing equipment.
