I just saw someone slotted the Dilithium Mine Upgrade project, which apparently became available in my absence :D

let's focus on that now to secure the first dilithium discount for all starbase projects and dilithium stores in the game.

Dusting off my Connie and wondering if there is any interest in a Lt level competition. Only starter or Lt level ships could be used. Could be Fed vs Klg or Fed vs Fed.

I'm considering Sunday night (CET), so Sunday afternoon stateside. I could arrange another day/time in the next week or two if Sunday doesn't work out.

This would just be a small friendly competition. Let me know. Thanks.

Edit - I meant Lieutenant level ships with any level character. However, we could also do LT level chars if somebody wanted.

I need to ask, am I doing something wrong with the fleet dilithium mine? Whenever I go there, there's nothing to do. Do we have to do more projects before there's anything to do there?

I believe we have completed all the available projects, and won't have access to more until Tier 1 completes in about a day and a half.

Dang! I've been to all those places (Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh and Berlin)

    Timing is everything.

Timelord - are you onsite of the meet-up?

Well no, but since you mentioned it - do you appear in the pictures???

I originally meant did you attend the meet-up.

Yes, I was there, which kind of leads to me being in pictures.

In fact the crappy picture I posted earlier with the greeting in the thread of Brandon has me as the guy next to him.

The greeting (in italics) was typed by Brandon on my phone for us.

    That's cool Timelord!

Hey folks, I only had one person interested in playing with the Lt ships. I will be trying again, just check the events.

My Rom Engr found a Mirror Ha'apax Advanced Warbird. Anyone have experience with that. He's too low in level to use it at this time.

Last year, Doc Lee collected 128 Cardassian lockboxes and put them in his vault. At the time, I was cursing Cryptic for give me lockboxes instead of real loot drops. Was cleaning out space and almost discarded them, but on a whim decided to check the price on the Exchange. Was amazed to see them going for 50k+ each. And here I thought they were just junk. :-)

I should check that out. I save one full stack of each lockbox before deleting the rest every time they come out. Maybe i should clean it out a bit...

I had a couple of stacks way back when, but I discarded them after seeing they didn't go up in price that much. Too bad about now.

But I do have some stacks of Temporal lock boxes, waiting for they day they go for something.

I made a proof of concept video for a guy on the German STO forum that the Elachi battleship in "Last Stand" is quite beatable and not really OP.

might as well post it here.

    Enjoy.

Anyone found anything else fun in the summer event? Did the Pavyl thing, got the bird view accolades, the master relaxer thing... that's pretty much it, right?

Almost halfway to the ship, but should get there as long as I don't take many (or any) days off. I've got the big floater, and really no interest in the costumes. At this point, I just run the daily race, grind the birds through once to trade for marks, and then do a few hunts in order to sell the Favors. Been making nice money there, although i started a little too late to make the killing that some people did. Also too lazy to grind my 5-6 toons through this thing, so only been doing it on the one toon...

That's the right way to do it. Don't overwork it, then you will be looking forward to it next year as well.

They might add a few things for the next time. My personal favourite would be a spy story daily that's different every day and scuba diving!
