    I love TNG Season 2.

I enjoy both ST:V and Nemesis, and find TWOK criminally over-rated.

When Crusher went away to "head" Starfleet medical?

    Yes.

Well Dr. Selar does not show up till season two, but I would of loved it if they went with her instead of retreading Dr. Crusher, even if Gates Mcfadden was nice to look at. Suzi P. gave Dr. Selar enough persona to be noteworthy.

What if the men got pregnant too?

Hey, at least it would solve the problem of the population just dwindling away.

The other option is that with the expanded lifespans they'd have with full powers, they'd go through Elogium twice.

I don't mind "Faith of the Heart." I think it works well with the credits of ENTERPRISE.

And I think TPTB deserve credit for not just going with another majestic Jerry Goldsmith score. At least they were trying to do something different . . . .

I don't mind it either. Is it a Grammy winner? Hell no. But I think it works.

And there's no evidence that Ocampa have only one child, is there?

I can't remember it ever being stated that twins and triplets were an impossibility, or that singles were the norm.

It was stated that Kes would only have a single opportunity at becoming pregnant, what she experienced on the show was a false start.

I like each incarnation equally, which is probably pretty unusual. It's themes like holosuites/decks and mirror universes that I can't stand. I really can't stand them.

The only evidence is that Kes had one child in Before and After and her child then had one child. That doesn't, however, preclude the possibility of twins or triplets.

I'm finding that a lot of TOS episodes I really used to like, I like less these days... finding that it was more about certain portions of those episodes that I actually appreciate. "The Corbomite Maneuver" is one of them. The first part of it was terrific. The ending was just lousy, quite silly even.

I thought Patrick Stewart was a terrific captain, back when I first watched TNG. I liked the Picard character. But when I'd let a lot of time pass without watching any TNG, I'd start to feel like Picard was stiff, unlikable. I'd pick Kirk over him any day. But then, upon breaking the hiatus and watching an episode or two of TNG, my feelings completely change. I'd feel like Picard is the more appealing character overall, although a lot of it has to do with particular episodes (both series have their dud and stellar performances).

Well, to be a viable (At it appeared that men where roughly equal to women.) that you would need something awfully close to the 2.1 children per women to maintain the population that humans need. That means twins the norm, and triplets or greater would be not uncommon.

^^^ In some families twins are more common than singles, they "run in the family."

Maybe Kes's family run towards singles.

It wasn't on my top episode list, but I had no problem with the episode either.
