Shay Duffin has died.........

Shay Duffin, who played Ned Quint in the episode 'Sub-rosa' died April 22 at age 79.

He played his character really well in Sub Rosa, very freaky like.

 

Is it worse I remember him more for his two second role in Titanic?

 

Holy crap, I tried watching this episode just now in re-run. It's been probably over six years since I've seen. I just BARELY made in half way in. I had to turn the channel. It's not the steaming pile of shit "Code of Honor" is, but still...

Yikes.

 

I dunno. Lutan's delivery of "No Vaccine" might have been more enjoyable compared to Ronan.

 

He played the eerie Ned really well.

Aw, it's always sad to see any actors/actresses pass on. Makes me wonder who we will have to remember in the future (current actors)

I saw this thread the evening that Grant posted it on the 3rd. It was freaky/ironic because later that night, Sub Rosa was the ep that was already scheduled for that night on the local station that airs TNG at 11 pm.

And yes, I made it through the entire ep. Shay was probably the best part of it.
