I'm not sure who to play Burboyne 172. But the picture on the cover of Fire on High does remond me of a yound David Bowie. Something about the eyes. Though I do think the roll might be best played by a female unless you can find a feminin enough looking male with intense enough eyes.

I've always thought that Mo Collins (of MadTV) would be a good Burgoyne.

How about the woman that played Satan in "The Passion of the Christ?" She definitely has that quality where you do a double-take, not sure if it's a guy or a girl (I'm sure the bald head helped). But then, it's been a long time since I've seen the movie.

I don't think Rosalinda Celentano has the right look. It's not about her being bald. It's just her face just isn't right in this case.

If you didn't want to be crude, you could've just said her breasts were too big, or that she was too full-busted. There are plenty of non-crude ways to say it, but you deliberately chose one of the crudest possible ones after saying "not to be crude." What's up with that?

Speaking of IKS Gorkon. Who could play Leskit since the original actor, David Graf passed away?

I'm not sure. Honestly, it's never going to happen anyhow, so since we're being all pie-in-the-sky-ish, I'm happy to stick with Graf. :)

Er, wait, she's always picked when it comes to androgynous characters...

I have some ideas swirling around--

    Lucy Lawless as NF's Desma.

Can't quite remember who I was thinking of for Tania Tobias I think it was Cameron Diaz.

Kyle McLaghlin as the Efrosian chief engineer on Titan. For the Pacifican (names are escaping me right now), I was thinking Marcia Cross.

Well, what about Katherine Moennig? Or maybe Daniela Sea?

David, I'm liking your idea of Kathrine Moennig for Burboyne 172. She's got the right look and the body type to fit and I think she could pull off the role.

Apparently she likes opera. Did you see that bit on CI where she sang? She said that Lennie Briscoe took her to an opera. I can definitely picture Briscoe and Rodgers hooking up....

OK, so who do you all think would make a better Christine Vale: Jorja Fox or Katee Sackoff?

Actually, I'm leaning towards Jennifer Morrison now.

Jorja Fox, but only based on her appearances on The West Wing.

Oh God, no. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of House and of Morrison, but she's all wrong for Vale.

I lean more toward Sackhoff than Fox.

I'm sorta down on all those suggestions. Somehow I just don't like Jorja Fox; by all rights I should find her extremely hot, but there's just something about her that I find unappealing and forbidding. As for Sackhoff, I did have her in mind for Vale when I wrote Orion's Hounds, but the last season of Galactica soured me on her (and on most everything else about the show). Plus someone recently made a suggestion for Vale that I thought was terrific -- except I can't remember now who it was.
