I was worried about that when two of the cabinet members were talking in the hall.

If they 25th her, or try too, I'm going to be pretty pissed.

I'm betting Tom Lennox is the specialist/guy they're going to call in to repalce the dismissed cabinet member.

I fell asleep the 15th time the president and her aid had the same argument over again.

It was a Coto & Braga penned episode so I should've known better.

This shit is so boring this season! There's nothing real at stake. A fake country and a fake device both moronically structured into the story.

I think the previews gave too much away. They'll be recovering Scooter Computer & Mr. Chips in no time, and 24 will then make their patented switchover to the secret rich white guy who's the real big bad. What else will happen? First Husband on the run from both the secret service and a cougar? Chloe 1.0 versus Chloe 2.0 in a World of Warcraft battle?

Also, remember when sniper guy was helped out of the building by evil FBI guy, who said that Tony had sent him? They seemed to have conveniently forgotten that Tony knows of at least one rogue element within the FBI.

Someone on TV Guide laughed about this because they said it's mostly just farms and the Amish. He said maybe you'd wipe out 20,000 cows instead.

I was actually glad that the dissenting Cabinet member (I believe the Secretary of State) left, rather than sit there. At least he was backing up his talk. I don't blame him for quitting, as it is indeed political suicide to put Americans at risk for something like this.

I also just realized that the FBI was almost non-existent in this episode save for the beginning, and the whole thing from last week with the Attorney General's office getting someone to the FBI in like 10 minutes to question/arrest Janis Gold (aka Chloe 2.0) was swept under the magic TV rug.

I am still lukewarm at best about this season. So far only the location has changed, the writing certainly hasn't.

Well, for me things have been so-so, not much has happened.

Hopefully after the 'switch' between the original handful of episodes and the ones they made after the strike things will pick-up.

But, yeah, when I saw Braga was more insturmental in this episode I started feeling ill.

I grew to like her, thought she was a total bitch at first, but dam shes way too hot.

Hey I wonder if we'll see 'Naked Mandy' now that the actress has been written out of the 'L-Word'
or did Jack kill her in a past season?

Naked Mandy should still be out there following her immunity in Season 4.

She deserved a bullet in the face for every time she said "I have to make this right," in hour 5.

No stupid... you need to take your top off, shut up and never ever try to torture someone again, you amateur.

"You could have trusted me." Why the fuck would he? She threw him under the bus the first chance she got.

I really wanted to like her but I can't stand her. By far one of the weakest main characters ever on the show.

Maybe when Kim returns Naked Mandy can be her new girlfriend.

I freely admit that I jumped in on this late but the secialist that "she'll listen to" is her husband.

If they recycle that 25th amendment crap, I'll be pissed.

Well, Biscuit better return or I'll be pissed.

And, yeah, they better not pull the 25 crap again.

Biscuit is a regular on another show on another network. They wrote him out to allow him to do one season of 24.

Maybe Mike Novak can be the VP. :)

According to the early season previews I seem to recall an ex-POTUS "counseling" the current president on Jack Bauer.

I gave it a "good" but I'm losing interest. I just don't buy that this small African country has so many spies in the government and the FBI. It feels so farfetched to me. As does this magic CP device.

I'm more interested in the conspiracy involving the President's son's death, and the FG's pursuit of that. I'm hoping it will end up being more interesting than the main plot right now.

I'm just not invested in what's going on the way I used to be. The planes colliding in the sky should have been a horrific 24 moment--kind of like the bomb going off in Valencia in s. 6 (before that season took a nosedive in quality), but it didn't. It all felt very route.

Don't get me wrong--I love this show and I'm still in for the long haul. I just wish they'd do something that felt fresh.

I don't think it's the African country that has those spies, as it is this Nichols person and whoever he works for - Jon Voight's firm.

But I am behind you on the CIP device. So magical in its abilities that you'd think it was a ninja.
