Can't sleep? Student with no social life? Long term unemployment? This is for you.

Some random dude on YouTube decided to start a series called Chrontendo where he discusses every single game for the Famicom (aka. NES in the USA) in chronological order by release date giving you a short summary, some history on the game and the video game industry at the time, and anything else related. It's a very in-depth look at the life and evolution of the most influential video game console ever released.

Now I do warn you that this is no short show and that's where my first paragraph comes into play. The Famicom has over a thousand games and every single one of them gets an in-depth analysis. Each episode is about an hour long and as of episode 43, he's still only in 1989. I've only seen the first episode so far, but it's definitely interesting.

His website isn't the best, so here's a link to a Metafilter Thread listing and linking to the first 33 episodes.
