Meh. I like the documentary style approach in introducing the premise. Obviously a full length motion picture would be vastly different.
Can't you read?! It says "its first contact with intelligent life", so it's obviously dealing with the Vulcans.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a lawsuit by CBS over the name. They'll claim its infringing on their intellectual property.
I'm looking foward to checking this out, I dig the concept...at first I was kinda "meh" about the brain probe (logistical questions kept popping up) but the human 2.0 concept makes alot of sense
I think though that they'll argue that Kronos is closely associated with Star Trek. Much like you'll see certain productions black out letters on the name "Enterprise". Not saying they'll win, but I imagine they will try.
I doubt they'll even try...Kronos has been a word for awhile now, weren't there watches called kronos? if the movie was called "Project Quo'nos" then they might have a problem.
Consdiering that 'Kronos," was also orginally Zeus' father in Greek Mythology - I don't know who exactly owns the copyright to this name but it for sure isn't Star Trek nor is it CBS.
Thats like George lucas suing over people making their own lightsaber hilts to wear, when he himself never got permission from the Graflex camera company to use part of their camera as the real lightsaber hilt onscreen.
Forgot about about Kronos being Zeus dad..anyway, thanks for bringing this film to my attention....can't find anything on a release date...I'm guessing the filmakers have no Idea?
